James and Robin, the owners of Nelson House, have carefully restored the home since acquiring the property in late 2015. With backgrounds in luxury travel and film production, Robin and James have been lucky enough to live in communities around the world - and to them Goderich represents the finest living.

Goderich has long been known as "The Prettiest Town in Canada". The heritage Town Square is home to weekly seasonal markets, restaurants, and shopping. It is a short walk from the downtown district to the Port of Goderich where three sandy beaches feature swimming, paddle boarding, a harbour and kayaking. Stroll along the boardwalk to explore the restaurants, parks, wildlife and superb sunsets.

Goderich is in the heart of the Huron County community, home of some of Canada's finest local food and artisanal markets. The area is renowned for its superb outdoor living - hiking trails, boating, golf courses, fishing on the Maitland River, cycling routes, and cross-country skiing.

Huron County boasts a strong culture of performance and fine arts, hosting live music festivals, galleries, theatre, film, and heritage cultural events year round. The live theatre scene in Blyth, Grand Bend and Stratford is a short drive away. And the charming port villages of Bayfield and Port Albert can be explored nearby.
